Think of it as a modern take on the traditional family portrait. Instead of a collection of still images, you’ll receive a beautiful short-form film capturing your family’s personalities, connections and little moments as they unfold naturally. It’s your family, just as you are, captured in motion.

That’s completely fine! Kids are unpredictable, and that’s part of the fun. There’s no expectation for little ones to sit still, smile on cue or behave perfectly. We’ll follow their lead, incorporate play where appropriate and capture their personalities as they are.
I also bring some fun things to incorporate and engage them such as music, bubbles, ribbons etc -
Absolutely! If you’ve already booked a photographer for your session, I’m happy to work alongside them to capture your Family Cut, just like I do at weddings. You’ll get beautiful photographs and a candid film to relive the moments in motion.

Sessions can take place at home, at your favourite park, on the beach or at another location that feels special to your family. We’ll work together to find a setting that suits your vision and gives us plenty of opportunities to capture natural moments.

Not at all. I might give a gentle prompt to get things moving (a race to the tree, a big family squish), but mostly you just get on with being yourselves and I work around you.

Yes, and home sessions are some of my favourites. Breakfast in pyjamas, reading on the couch. It doesn’t need to be tidy or styled. Real life looks lovely on film.

It depends on your package and your family. The aim is enough time for everyone to settle in without anyone feeling rushed. We’ll talk it through before your session so you know what to expect, and you can add extra time for $55 per 30 minutes.

Usually within 24-48 Hours. If you can’t wait, Express Delivery gets your edit to you same day or within 12 hours for $115.

For outdoor sessions, early morning or late afternoon gives the softest light and the most comfortable temperatures. For little ones, the best time is whenever they’re fed, rested and happiest. We’ll work around naps.

Comfortable clothes you feel good in. Coordinating colours work nicely, but you don’t need to match. I’d avoid big logos and very busy patterns. Happy to give suggestions once you’ve booked.

Your baby’s comfort and safety come first. I don’t do posed newborn setups. Newborn Cuts are relaxed and led by you and your baby, so feeds, cuddles and settling breaks are all part of it.

Only with your consent. Your little ones’ privacy and safety come first, and saying no won’t change the service you receive in any way.
